Conditions of Hire
The Village Hall Committee has a detailed list of conditions that must be adhered to by all persons and groups when hiring the Hall. A copy will be provided to all hirers of the Hall; a copy is posted on the notice board in the front porch of the Hall and in the kitchen. The Hire Agreement can be accessed by clicking here.
A brief resume:
- Maximum capacity of the Hall is 100.
- Any damage done during a hiring period must be reported immediately to the Booking Officer where apportionment of blame and cost of restitution can be discussed.
- The agreed payment for the Hire period must be made to the Booking officer by the beginning of the hire period unless there is an alternative agreement.
- The Hirer is responsible for leaving the entire premises and surrounding area in a clean and tidy condition and must remove all rubbish, bottles etc.
- The Committee reserve the right to decline applications to hire the premises.
- All electrical appliances, internal and external lights must be switched off and the premises secured and locked as instructed.
